Rosie and Bijou, our heroes
Together forever!

Rosie At the Bridge October 4, 2010
Bijou At the Bridge November 12, 2010

Many of you know Marilyn's Rosie for the valiant battle she fought against Megaesophagus. But what you may not know is that it was Rosie and her sister Bijou who started bichon rescue in Florida almost 12 years ago. Because of these two sisters, hundreds of bichons have been saved in Florida!

Went to the Bridge 10/22/11
You were a sweet boy and brought us joy for the short time we knew you

Sunny
Fostered and Adopted by Karla Roarty

Went to the Bridge 12/24/11

Sunny came to Bratpack Rescue from Orange County Animal Services in April 2007. When we first saw him, he was a giant blonde hairball, looking just like "Cousin It". After shaving him down, we found an emaciated standard poodle. Unfortunately, Sunny has some pretty serious health problems, but wrapped himself around the hearts of Karla and her family. Sunny woke Karla at 3:45am to say goodbye and then he want to the bridge.

Tess

Our sweet Tess passed away from complications of surgery.

Mr. Snuggles
Went to the Bridge on 7/6/12. Adopted and loved by Bratpack volunteer Craig for three years since being pulled from a Tampa shelter.

Kiwi Vitale
At the Bridge August 3, 2012 at 23 years old

Rescued by Mimi and Larry, Kiwi welcomed rescues fostered in their home, helped to train them, and cared for the sick and elderly. Kiwi traveled extensively with her family until the day finally came when her body failed her, and her spirit now is rejoined at the bridge with the others who have gone before.
